Due Date

If Planes, Trains & Automobiles was written today by the same guy, but he smoked pot and listened to one of Zach Galifianakis' stand up routines while writing then Due Date would be the byproduct. Robert Downey's character (Peter Highman) is s strung out architect who just wants to make it back to L.A. to see his wife give birth to their first child, but after meeting Ethan (Zach's character) a kind hearted idiot Peter is forced to drive across the country with the one person he doesn't want to ever see again.
Both actors fucking nailed the characters spot on. At points I couldn't stop laughing, and others I felt like I was tearing up. The jokes were timed perfectly and just the overall performance of them going back and forth was just great. The story was solid and the situations they get in are all plausible. The only thing I found my self not liking is the use of some of the best jokes in the trailers. After seeing it you can kinda see the jokes coming, but even that couldn't ruin this great film.

New poll up :D

So I put up a new poll asking "What do you think about the Movie 'Skyline' that's coming out soon?". I really can't tell what the fuck it's about. All they show is a bunch of blue lights, a couple alienish ships, and a dude with a big camera and a douchey mustache. It's hard to tell, but right now it looks pretty horrible.

(thanks ben dover for the idea...lol ben dover)
In this trailer it looks somewhat tolerable. I like the fact that they put in the quotes from Stephen Hawkinig, but what I saw from the other trailer...meh.

When I first saw this trailer I thought "oh wow...they're actually making a resistance movie.", but then I realized there's no big buff hero guy and by that time it said 'Skyline'. It just looks like another cloverfield type movie, except you might not get a headache this time.

Scary movie recommendation for Halloween

Since it's halloween and I'm drunk passing out candy I thought it'd be a good idea to make a blog commemorating some of the creepiest movies I've ever seen. Starting off this list is Roman Polanski's 'The Tenant'.
Now this may not be Polanski's most popular film, but man is it a mindfuck. It's got everything from creeping paranoia to sabotage of ones personal psyche. This is definitely a film to watch in the middle of the night alone with the lights off. I'll edit it with more movies later. Right now I need some food lol.

Probably one of the weirder horror films I've seen is 'Martyrs'. It's about a little girl who after being tortured most of her life escapes and grows up in foster care. There she meets her best friend and decide to hunt down the people who imprisoned her.

BenX

No it's not a horrible remake of that stupid cartoon network show 'Ben 10' so relax. It's a Belgian movie that follows an "autistic" teenager trying to survive the thing that most nerdy/geeky/weird kids call hell. Yep high school for Ben is not only hard it's almost impossible with two cliche bullies that just will not leave him alone. Ben's only outlet to the world is a game much like world of warcraft. There he's a hero and talks to a girl that he's fallen in love with. I would go more in depth, but I'd hate to give anything away seeing as this was an awesome movie. It made me feel for the character, and got me to tear up a bit which is nearly impossible.

This awesome belgian movie gets
